My skirts are totally custom made. This page is to help explain how to order the perfect skirt.
Waist Size: Using a tape measure, wrap it around the level of your waist where the skirt will sit.
Length: Beginning with the height from the ground you want the skirt to be, measure up to your waist measurement line. You may want to take two measurements here. One in the front, and one in the back.
Theme & Colors: Every skirt has a unique theme or color pattern. For instance I may make a purple skirt with 20 different fabrics or an animal skirt with no specific color pallet.
Occasionally I will make a skirt that is completely batik, or only chinese print fabrics. It is better to concentrate in one area or the other, but be as specific as you would like. You will receive an E-mail detailing what I can and cannot do.
Style: The fabrics I use have a wide variety of subject matter within the prints. If you happen to have an affinity for butterflies, it is quite possible that I could make you a five inch patch skirt with dozens of butterfly fabrics. Leaves, flowers, feathers, creatures and many patterns are common motifs. Each and every print is handpicked and exquisite on its own, not what you would find in your grandmother's scrap material bag. At the very least I can include a few of your favorite images. |
